Administrative Assistant Needed in Orlando FL

Our company is looking for a passionate individual who will enjoy being a Administrative Assistant for a non profit organization that ensures that the dream child and family have a safe and comfortable stay. This position needs a candidate who is great at multi tasking, enjoys doing a wide array of job duties and is very organized.

Job Duties Include:
: Answer incoming telephone calls, check dream village email and respond immediately.
: Processing of donations: Code, indicate check # (cash) and amount; input into donor database; merge, print and mail thank you and acknowledgement letters, print envelopes, insert proper information materials and contribution envelope into envelope and affix postage.
: Managing lawn, pool, housekeeping and maintenance services of the Dream Village property required to ensure the property and all structures are clean, well-groomed and presentable at all times.
: Contacting vendors for pricing on repairs, maintenance or other items or services that may be needed in maintaining the Village; after getting at least three estimates, forwarding them to President for review
: Walk through & inspect all family facilities (cottages, pool, playground) checking and following up on any necessary problems or concerns.
: Recruiting, interviewing, training and scheduling volunteers.
: Cultivating and following through on volunteer and corporate leads to promote volunteer opportunities at the Dream Village.
: Working with volunteer, corporate and civic groups on a weekly basis to complete weekday or weekend projects, tasks at the Dream Village.
: Utilize maintenance checklists to recruit volunteers based on needs and assign tasks to volunteers and work groups.
: Performing general administrative duties, including updating contact databases and posting Dream Village activities on social media sites.
: Checking email and responding; forwarding or following through when necessary.

Hours- All full time employees work a forty-hour week, office hours are Monday-Thursday 9:00AM to 5:00PM and Friday 9:00AM to 4:00PM with a one-half hour lunch period included.
Pay $14 an hour

Requirements
B.S. degree
MS office- Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher and Excel
Excellent Organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Willingness to learn
Good work ethic
