Business Development Specialist

Academy Physicians is looking for a successful Business Development Specialist to join our growing team. This position will be working primarily from home so it is important for the candidate to have their own home office.

Academy Physicians is a Medical recruiting and staffing company who is continuing to grow. We have been established since 2009 and have a small boutique feel to us. We are very customer oriented and take pride in looking out for our clients.

Job Duties
make 80-100 outbound calls per day when you are in your home office to prospects in the medical field and/or Executive field.
Sell both Permanent Placement and Locum Tenens services to prospects
Bill at least 350k your first year
Make cold calls in your local area at least once a week
Achieve/exceed sales quotas
Fully understand each prospect’s decision process and create the appropriate sales approach
Effectively qualify opportunities to ensure greatest return on time and resource investment
Utilize professional networks to establish relationships which create new opportunities/prospects
Use an effective consultative sales approach to create differentiated solutions that establish Company as a strategic business partner
Build relationships with influential people inside targeted companies to help identify and qualify opportunities
Identify, understand and resolve any obstacles or objections to the successful sale of Company solutions
Utilize the ATS tool and maintain current activity records on prospects and clients
Provide accurate forecasting and effectively balance existing account development with new business prospecting

QUALIFICATIONS:
: Prior sales experience in medical field a huge plus!
: Sales personality
: Self-motivated
: Professional verbal and written communication skills
: Ability to connect and collaborate with management of all levels in companies of all sizes
: Advanced knowledge of Company service offerings
: Must be able to manage multiple prospects at different stages in the sales cycle : Results-oriented and money motivated
: Must be able to handle objections and rejection, and take feedback and adjust actions accordingly
: Must be used to performing at high activity levels
: Must understand and utilize consultative selling
: Able to interact with clients to handle all issues under pressure
: Well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player
: Energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image
: Able to use hunter mentality to research and qualify prospects based on defined criteria
: Experience developing lead sources through a variety of activities with a strong emphasis on cold calls

ACCOUNTABILITY:
: Manage Top 20 prospects
: Meet weekly activity quotas
: Meet revenue and gross profit quotas for new and existing business
: Upsell and growth of existing business
